Haven’t really had much motivation to post lately…Time I have plenty of, motivation, not so much. Maybe I should get one of those Motivation posters (maybe the one with the kitten hanging onto a clothes line!)…
Anyway, I ported (can it be called ported?) the Vista sidebar to XP thanks to the release of Alky–Vista only programs/games (DX10) for XP. Its up for grabs on dfiles if you want to give it a try…Run Installer.msi, then the KBxxx.exe, then right click on sidebar.inf and install. Reboot and tada! I don’t game a whole lot much so I decided to spruce up my desktop a bit. Click beautiful Avril’s picture above to see what it looks like now

In other major news, Ubuntu 7.10 Final Release came out today! Hell I even got Chad to try it out Think I’m in the “linux is for servers, not the desktop” boat that Greg is in because I was excited about the release but the excitement all but vanished once I had it installed. Guess I’m just used to everything running in terminal and any change affects me in a “whoa…cool but not cool” way.
Anyway, I’m pretty sick (thanks family! sigh…) so I’m gonna go sleep now. Tomorrow’s lab day so I don’t think I’ll go…I can get Lab 7 checked off Monday since I feel like shit right now, and will feel like wet shit tomorrow
