Really tired right now so I’ll keep things brief…Decided to volunteer to set up the network for this year’s LinuxFest. Josiah, Kyle #2, and I started on the prep/design phase on Wednesday…Far far faaaar too late considering the fest is on Saturday. In any case, we got everything working and even recruited an awesome first year (Abbie :P) to help us out
Tiring but fun, really fun!

Wow, I so did not expect Microsoft to hold up their part of the deal when I signed up to install their spyware on my class PC (which I use once every week to keep the spyware from deactivating me). Just got an email saying that I passed their spyware checks (eh?) and will be receiving my copies of Windows Vista Ultimate 32bit and 64bit…Free cash ftw!
edit: This style needs some major overhauling :-/

So a few days ago I bought a Xbox (orignal) DVD Kit, why? Because the I’m sick and tired of the stupid Xbox controller…First of all, my Xbox is 90% a media center. It gets used for gaming once or twice a year, so why do I need a gaming controller! Secondly, said gaming controller is getting a bit iffy again, already repaired it once…Did a bit of research on how to add a remote control thats compatible with XBMC, and to my surprise the DVD Playback Kit comes with everything I need! Bought one off Amazon for ~$7 ($2 for the kit, $5 for shipping…sigh) which was a pretty good bargain, considering Wally and K ask $20 or more for it.
